Late Morning: We’ll then begin our journey toBwindi Impenetrable National Park (approximately 3-4 hours). This drive takes you through stunning terraced hillsides, often referred to as the “Switzerland of Africa,” offering breathtaking views.

Afternoon: Arrive and check into your lodge in Bwindi, nestled close to the gorilla trekking starting points.

Evening: The evening is yours to relax and prepare for the incredible gorilla trekking adventure scheduled for tomorrow. Dinner and overnight stay in Bwindi.

Morning: The absolute highlight of your trip! After an early breakfast, you’ll head to the park headquarters for a crucial briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. Then, accompanied by your guides, you’ll venture into the dense forest for your mountain gorilla trekking adventure. The trek can vary in length and difficulty, but the reward of spending a magical hour with a habituated gorilla family in their natural habitat is truly unparalleled.

Afternoon: After this profound experience, you’ll begin your drive back to Kampala/Entebbe (approximately 8-9 hours). Alternatively, if you prefer, arrangements can be made for a flight from a nearby airstrip (at an additional cost).
