Fly-in Safari: Upon your international arrival in Dar es Salaam (DAR), you’ll connect with a scheduled light aircraft flight directly into the heart of Ruaha National Park (landing at Msembe Airstrip or similar).
Southern Circuit Gem: Ruaha is Tanzania’s largest national park and a true wilderness, offering a more exclusive safari experience away from the crowds. It’s renowned for its large concentrations of elephants, healthy populations of predators (lions, leopards, cheetahs, and endangered African wild dogs), and diverse landscapes dominated by the Great Ruaha River.
Daily Game Drives & Activities: Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in custom-built safari vehicles. Depending on your chosen camp, you may also have the option for guided walking safaris (a unique way to experience the bush) and/or night drives to spot nocturnal creatures.
Optimal Wildlife Viewing: The dry season (June to October) is particularly excellent for game viewing as animals congregate around the shrinking water sources along the riverbeds.
